Can you share a bit about your background and your journey leading to joining RECOM Technologies UK? 

Having worked as an electronic engineer, solar sales in the domestic and commercial sectors and as a key account manager for the UK’s largest wholesaler of renewable energy kit, I feel confident of joining RECOM Technologies UK and providing customers with an excellent level of service throughout the complete sales cycle. 

What inspired you to join RECOM Technologies UK, and what excites you most about this new opportunity? 

For me, my attraction to RECOM Technologies UK is all about the cutting-edge technology and the quality of the products. Being able to offer customers all the power electronics kit, in addition to 24%, 30-year warranty panels, and therefore removing any compatibility issues. That’s a combination of kit which is much more efficient, quicker to install and will provide you with hassle-free commissioning. 

You’ve mentioned a dedication to outstanding service. How do you plan to ensure exceptional customer experiences at RECOM Technologies UK? 

Listen, communicate clearly and immediately deal with any challenges. To listen carefully and understand exactly what the customers is asking of RECOM Tech is very important. And I will ensure that communication within the company is clear and concise. From past experiences, I understand that mistakes with internal communication can lead to challenges with the selection and delivery of the customer’s order. And it will always be my aim to keep our customer’s projects progressing without any delays. It is always on my mind that our customers are relying for their kit to be delivered on the agreed date. 

What advancements or developments do you foresee shaping the future of solar energy?   

Predicting the future of solar energy is challenging, but the sector’s focus on sustainability—driven by concepts like achieving net-zero carbon and addressing global CO2 emissions—remains paramount. 

Sustainability is a significant aspect of renewable energy. How do you perceive RECOM Technologies UK’s role in promoting sustainability within the solar energy sector? 

RECOM Tech are at the cutting edge of the current technology available in the renewable market today because of our Research & Development partnerships with the French National Institutes For Solar Energy R&D, CEA & INES. These research institutes keep finding new ways to improve the performance of renewable energy products and then RECOM Tech manufacture this new technology and offer it to our valued customers. 

Outside of work, what passions or hobbies drive and inspire you? 

In my spare time, I really enjoy being in nature and the wilderness. Almost any activity; adventure hiking, wild camping, canoeing, paragliding, etc. And because I enjoy nature, I am even more motivated in my role, to help the planet even in small ways, every step towards a sustainable future is helping. 

How do you envision the future growth and direction of the solar industry, and how does RECOM Technologies UK plan to be at the forefront of these changes? 

Getting closer Net Zero targets provide the renewable industry with additional goals to the current targets. I have full confidence that our trusted Research and Development partners (French National Institutes For Solar Energy R&D, CEA & INES) will discover the next level of step-change the industry will demand, and RECOM Technologies UK will rise to that challenge as we have in the past, since 2007.
